I received this as a Christmas gift from my mum before we get in to the actual eye shadow pallet is comes in a box with a pair of very good tweezers a double ended blending brush, a eyebrow pencil and a waterproof eye liner this pallet includes 10 eye shadows which beautifully matched eye shadow that blend together beautifully this pallet can create nude or smoky eye looks with a little bit of colour but not to much so you look like you let your 5 year child do your make up this morning.

i was always intrigued by this product but i never intended to fly to France to purchase it and i have heard that it is very hard to get hold of this if your in the uk so when i saw this on a website that i was already placing an order with i just had to put it in my basket so when it arrived i was excited to try it out. I thought that it would be a disappointment because it looked so much like water that i didt think that it would remove make up very well now i don't wear water proof make up but i do wear primer foundation powder and eye primer so all of my make up is still on my face at the end of the day and i can take my full face of make up of with this and just one cotton pad when i use normal cream make up remover it would take me up to 4 cotton pad to remove all of my make up so i must say that i am very impressed with this and am now very sad that it ist readily available in the uk yet but it cant be long.

Christmas eve gingerbread house makeing

 

This Christmas eve I decided I wanted to take part in the festivity so I decided that I wanted to make a ginger bread house but I didt have the funds and didt fancy the cleaning up that comes from baking a gingerbread house so I searched the web for a reasonably priced kit to make one your self and I found this kit in my local Tesco in the Christmas food isles right at the front of the store

 So when I got this kit home I was surprised to see all of the pieces on the house with engraved marking for the doors, windows and the roof patterns I also came with a bag of ready made icing which tastes really good and u use this to decorate the house while using the piping bag and to stick the walls of the house together it also comes with a packet of jelly hearts and to packets of copy smarties in different shapes.

This is the finished product of my gingerbread house I will admit that I may have used some other sweets that didt come with the kit the ones inline on top of the roof and on the circle around the door did not come with this kit.

RiRi loves mac collection

The riri love mac collection consists of

From this collection their was only a few things that i was intrested in which were the eyeshadow quad in her cocca the lip stick in riri woo and the blush duo in hibiscus kiss and i went to mac and i only bought the blush duo in hibiscus kiss because i new i definatly wanted that and the eyeshadow quad was sold out and i al ready own macs russian red which is a matte red so similar to riri woo so i descided not to buy it.

The top bronser is matte which is what i like and i have been using it for a contour and the botton which is very inconveiniant to try and get a blush brush in because its so small but they are both highly pigmented and the bottom blush reminds me of narz orgasum a peachy pink with gold shimmer in.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Pallet

I know i know im so late on this pallet and also i have never owned anything from this brand before.

This pallet is exactley what it say its very basic it contains 6 shadows 5 matte and 1 shimmery.

The first shade is venus the only shimmery shade of the pallet witch is a great inner corner highlight and then foxy which is a yelloe toned beigh and w.o.s (walk of shame) which is a pink toned beigh and then the shade naked 2 which a very light matte brown colour which is a great blending colour then faint a medium-dark brown colour which is grate crease colour and then lastley crave a matte brown which is a great outer v colour and grate for sumdging out over the lash line.

Barry M Natural glow shadow & blush pallet

When barry m lauched their autum products this was one i was defintaly sure i need to have as their isnt many neutral drugstore pallets out their.

In this pallet their is 6 shadows and 1 blush all some what pigmented 

(From left to right) the first shade in this pallet is a light purple lavender shade and second is a shimmery white and third is the only matte shade of the pallet a light brown fourth is a shimmery gray fifth is a shimmer light brown and lastly is a shimmer dark brown the first 3 shade arnt that pigmented but the other 3 are and the blush is not that pigmeneted either i am slightly disapointed buy this pallet overall as the pigmentation is quite bad and also how cheap the packaging feelswhich isnt great.

Victoria Secrest (manchester)

Today me and my friend decided to go down to manchester to check out the new Victoria Secrest which is the closest one to me the other one is 4 hours away in London so that's not very practical. 

      

Any way the shop is so beautiful at first you are surrounded by pink and the underwear and and then it's pyjamas and at the back was fragrance and beauty it's like three shops in one. Its so big and right next door is the Victoria Secrest pink shop. 

This is just a small part of the fragrance department they are all so beautiful and the workers are so nice they make you feel so welcome and help you with any question and with most of these fragrance or body cream ,scrubs ,wash etc that you see in the picture are all around £10-£15 and they have a permeant deal on we're if you buy 3 you get them for £24 or if you buy 5 you get them for £30 which is and overall saving of about £30 which is amazing so me and my friend bought five together to get the deal but we both wanted separate Victoria Secrest bags and the woman at the till was really nice about it and wrapped each fragrance individual in separate bags for us an over all and amazing experience. So the big thing that your thinking is what did she actually buy well I did't go too crazy and just got 2 body mists but then I ventured in to boots and hmv as well to pick up a few things so here what I got .

I got the Victoria Secrest body mist in mango temptation and love rush I also got the 21 and over DVD and the bonjour is 150 anniversary release which was java rice powder which is a loose powder in a beautiful pinky shimmery shade and also soap & glory one heck of a blot face powder in translucent.

The Making of Harry Potter

Warner Brothers Studio Tour London

I had heard all the great reviews about this tour so we booked our tickets in advanced and if you looking at going I highly suggest  you book your tickets weeks in advance because tickets run out extremely fast and you can't buy them at the attraction. So when you arrive you get allocated through the car park to you allocated parking space which means no trying to find a space in a packed car park.

Then when you first enter the building you are in the lobby and to your left is the studio café and to your right is the gift shop. So then you can start queuing for the tour while queuing for the tour on the left their is the set of Harrys bedroom at private drive.

When they open the tour you are first guided in to a room were one of the very enthusiastic tour guides tells you some facts about the harry potter franchise and Then you are led in to cinema room were you watch a short clip which lasts about 5 minutes of Daniel Radcliff (harry potter) Emma Watson (Hermonie granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasly)introducing the tour.

 Then after that you get welcomed in to the great hall which is were another tour guide speaks about some of the main characters after that no more of the tour is guided you are left alone to wonder round at your own pace and with every child ticket you get a harry potter passport which has a space for 6 stamps which you collect as you go round and a golden snitch hunt.

Then you go in to the main room were you will find things like Dumbledore's office, The door to the chamber of secrets, Potion classroom, The transporting fire places at the ministry of magic and much more.

 Then the green screen room were your get the chance to fly the sky's of London on a broom stick (my favourite part)and then you can buy the photos for £12 each £16 for two or £21 for 3 and you can also buy videos.

After that you can go and explore more of the main room or you can go outside to the backlot were their are plenty of exterior set such as the knight bus, Hogwarts bridge and private drive.

 And you also have the chance to try butter beer at £7 for a souvenir tankard (pictured above) £5 for souvenir cup and £3 for a throw away cup the butterbeer has no alcohol in it so safe for the children. It is very sweet and they top if of with vanilla flavoured froth/cream and this is one of the only 2 places in the world were you can buy this the other on I is the world of harry potter in Florida.

Then when you go back inside you go in to a small section of creature affects were their is lots of head of all the goblins.

After that you go in to the famous diagon alley which is located behind the leaky caldron in diagon alley their are many shops including olivianders which is were harry bought his first wand and gringotts bank.

After diagon alley their is the art department which is filled with sketches of all the building, costumes etc that were used in the 8 films.

     

After that is the model of the Hogwarts castle which is built at a scale of 1:24 is beautifully breath-taking and hand crafted with so much detail the picture really doesn't do it justice.

After that their Is a room filled with wand boxes covering every wall and then you exit into the gift shop were you can pick up lots of goodie to remember you trip by because I went in the summer holiday we got given a free badge for the summer spells addition and their is the passport I mentioned earlier I also bought a gold time turner keyring and the souvenir guide and bertie bots every flavour jelly beans and the black tickets each ticket will have a different character on it.

 Over all this tour is so worth the money I would recommend any one to go even if you not a harry potter fan after the price of the family ticket at £85 then another £100 in the gift shop and of photo graphs and butter beer also we have a 4 hour journey their and back £5o for fuel it bring the whole day to approximately £250 which is high but every one on our family member as satisfied at the end of the day

Welcome beauty obsessed freinds

Hello,

This is about my 5th time of starting a blog in the past year so here goes fifth time lucky on my blog (A life of beauty)I hope to post at least once a week all though my blog will be mostly beauty related I also hope to be a bit personal to so that you can actually get to know me. As I don't have a job at the moment and am currently looking at enrolling in a collage to study cosmetic make and possibly media make up I will be unable too spend lots of money on high end products my blog will be a mix of drugstore and high-end make up skincare hair care and all that jazz I also spend a lot of my time on YouTube so I would never rule out starting a YouTube channel if opportunity shows but right now I'm going to focus on blogging. As I have never been great at the English language and always struggle with punctuation and spelling I more than make up for it in talking. My aim for starting this blog is to express my opinion on all thing beauty and to let you guy now the real me and make lots of new friends along the way. I will also link my instagram and twitter down below and also a picture of me so you can but a face to the blog.
